Leadership Rome

Community Development and Leadership Roles

Leadership is one of the most important characteristics needed to move an organization or community forward. Created and offered by the RFC, Leadership Rome is a ten-month course designed to promote and enhance community leadership. Participants are introduced to the essential workings of the social, economic, business, and political environment of Rome and Floyd County. Upon completion, graduates understand what it means to be a leader and are aware of issues facing our community with knowledge to impact their organizations and our community.

High School Leadership Rome

Each year select rising sophomores and juniors are invited to participate in the High School Leadership Rome (HSLR) program, where they learn more about community development and leadership roles, and collaboration with Rome and Floyd County. They also can explore potential career paths that help shape the future of their community.
